I don't actually want to know what that entails
(Link from DR)

Apparently the self-called "presumptive nominee" for the Maryland US Senate race is a birther. Doing some hard-hitting research, I looked up what he did...on the biography page of his website:

"Dr. Wargotz is a recognized expert in pathology of the Breast and Gynecological Tract."

Let me translate that in non-science speak--"Dr. Wargotz shtoops broads"

DR also pointed out that he is the "goofiest looking dbag i've seen in a while". My answer?
"And you live in Allston...HEY YOOOOOOOOOOO!"

It's 915A, I've had zero coffee, and I'm on FIRE!

Harvard Mentality

"Obviously she was very distraught and concerned over that tenure," Miller said.

"It insulted her and slapped her in the face, and it's probably tied in with the Harvard mentality. She brooded and brooded and brooded over it, and then, 'bingo.'"

...and slap the dick out of your mouth.

I'm writing a lab handout/procedure on the gas-phase infrared spectrum of HCl, which gives us information on the vibrational frequency of the hydrogen-chlorine bond. Microsoft Word suggested i change the word "vibrational" to "irrational". I don't go to Seattle and judge Bill Gates' choice of profession....

I'm a large fan of portmanteaux, combining words to make up new words.
Today's portmanteau is inspired by a story from DR, who just helped a woman who makes $200k remove a page from a Microsoft Word document (by deleting it, i imagine).

ameritocracy: (n.) /ah-meh-rih-TOK-rah-cee/ The system in place in corporate America in which people do not deserve the position/salary they presently have, promotions are given based on networking and other invented corporate-speak, and intelligence is not rewarded (and possibly even penalized).
